Dealing effectively with noise nuisance
On Wednesday 29th September, representatives from the city police, the council and the Liverpool City Centre Leaseholders Federation will be hosting a free meeting to hear your views, give advice and discuss ways of dealing with noise nuisance.
Whether itʼs noise from nightclubs or neighbours, itʼs a problem that many of us will face from time to time. For anyone who has suffered from unwelcome noise intrusion, there is no need to point to the studies that show the real and significant impact it can have on peoplesʼ lives.
We are determined that our residents should have adequate protection against this significant problem.
Weʼve asked representatives from Liverpool City Council and Merseyside Police to come and talk at this event and listen to the views of residents.
We will be pleased to welcome:
- Sergeant Barry Downes, Merseyside Police
- Tony Cafferky, Manager Night Time Noise Team, Liverpool City Council
The meeting will take place in Collingwood Room at Millennium House, Victoria Street on Wednesday 29th September. Weʼll be starting at 6.30 p.m. (LCCLF will be onsite from 6:15 p.m.) and finishing at around 8 p.m.
On the agenda at the event:
- Talks and advice from the police and city council on tackling noise nuisance
- Learning from each othersʼ experiences
- How can we improve the way things are done?
Spaces will be limited so please do book early for what is likely to be a highly popular event.
