Anyone - whether resident, managing agent, or long-distance landlord - who has a shared interest in making our living environment better is welcome to join Engage. Where available, residents and property owners in each covered building can also get access to their own exclusive area of the website, to discuss issues and solutions to common problems and to help them be more involved in the building and neighbourhood they live in.
We also welcome membership from strategic partners, such as the City Council and the business community, as we seek to connect everyone in Liverpool City Centre to make it an even better place in which to live.
Our City Our Place
Engage have been asked to help organise a seminar provisionally entitled Our City Our Place for Wednesday 22nd September 2010 at the prestigious solicitors firm of Hill Dickinson in St Paul’s Square from 5.30-8.00pm.
John Framson (Liverpool University) will chair the event and invited speakers include Max Steinberg (Liverpool Vision), Tom Bloxham (Urban Splash), Nigel Lee (LCC Planning Dept), Jack Stopforth (Liverpool Chamber of Commerce) and resident’s spokesman Gerry Proctor (Engage).
There are places for leaseholders and residents of the City Centre or Waterfront who can apply for tickets through this website. This unique event is a first in the country where residents from apartment developments will share their vision and experience of city living with those who are shaping the city through their policies and decisions. This seminar is building on the successful series of seminars held by Engage over the last 12 months.
