Noise: Complaints about noise from intruder alarms, barking dogs, musical instruments, loud amplified music, DIY, persistent shouting and banging doors are dealt with by the Environmental Protection Unit (EPU). Noise disturbance as a result of anti-social behaviour may require the services of the police or Liverpool ant-social behaviour unit (see below). The EPU will liaise and work with these and any other stakeholders in order to ensure that a successful outcome is acheived.
