The X Building is located in the heart of the Commercial District, just one street behind Old Hall Street and adjacent to St. Pauls Square.
A modern red-brick building on Bixteth Street next to the park, the building was constructed in 2001 and is a popular and well liked development with lots of different apartment layouts and sizes, including apartments on the first and sixth floors having extensive terraces.
Being in the Commercial District, the building is highly popular with city centre workers and professionals. Being an established, well-made and respected building, it also contains a high proportion of owner-occupiers. The building enjoys a good standard of maintenance, and has well enforced leasehold terms resulting in a generally pleasant living atmosphere.
As you might expect, the district is busy on a daytime weekday, and very peaceful at evenings and weekends.
