Get involved, sign up now, it's quick and free get access to the member areas in just a few clicks and get better connected in your building and your neighbourhood.

Anyone - whether resident, managing agent, or long-distance landlord - who has a shared interest in making our living environment better is welcome to join Engage. Where available, residents and property owners in each covered building can also get access to their own exclusive area of the website, to discuss issues and solutions to common problems and to help them be more involved in the building and neighbourhood they live in.

We also welcome membership from strategic partners, such as the City Council and the business community, as we seek to connect everyone in Liverpool City Centre to make it an even better place in which to live.

About your pages

In partnership with Liverpool City Council, Engage are providing the tools to people inside buildings across the city centre and waterfront areas to help them create their own communities, communicate with their fellow residents and run their buildings.

The buildings pages provide everything needed for you to communicate effectively with other residents in your building.

You can privately deploy information, for viewing by your residents only (don't worry - we can take care of identity verification), as well as being able to initiate and join in with private discussions.

You can send messages to your residents, and they can communicate with you too. What's more having an Engage membership means that you'll get timely information from Engage and the City Council on matters that affect you in your neighbourhood, and can communicate directly with your local leaseholders federation representative.

Don't have a resident's association? We know that many buildings don't.

You can still join in. Whether you want to create more of a community in your building, or you have issues to discuss, helping to create one of these ares for your building could be just what it needs.

My building isn't listed.

When you sign up to the website, tell us where you live and we'll add it. Alternatively, you can use the contact form on the website instead.

What's invovled in being a moderator?

Not a lot. As a minimum, just a willingness to check messages as they are posted, and take responsible action where needed, is necessary to get a building area up and running.

Can I do more than just moderate discussions?

Yes! There are also EDITOR roles available too! As an editor, you can add news stories to your building's page, add further pages to your building's 'site', and add content generally, including being able to store files - perfect for residents associations.

Why be an Engage website member?

Engage is not a campaign - it's a network.

An Engage website membership means that you always have someone to turn to for advice, as well as getting access to the full Engage content.

On the site, you can find details of how to deal with issues that resident's from time-to-time find themselves facing.

If you want to - you can discuss your issues with other residents from across the city centre and waterfront.

You'll receive timely messages, alerts and news specific to your building and neighbourhood from the City Council, and we intend to extend this to other authorities too.

How do you verify my access to a building page?

When you apply for verified membership, we send you a code in the post for you to use on the site. When you receive this, you just need to once type this code into the space on the building page to verify your membership.

Is my membership public knowledge?

We keep your membership details private. If you choose to make a discussion contribution to the site, the only thing that is shown is the 'screen name' you chose when you signed up. This means you can have online discussions with people from across the city centre and waterfront.

Of course, if you wish, you can choose just to have an Engage membership to get news and alerts.
