Anyone - whether resident, managing agent, or long-distance landlord - who has a shared interest in making our living environment better is welcome to join Engage. Where available, residents and property owners in each covered building can also get access to their own exclusive area of the website, to discuss issues and solutions to common problems and to help them be more involved in the building and neighbourhood they live in.

We also welcome membership from strategic partners, such as the City Council and the business community, as we seek to connect everyone in Liverpool City Centre to make it an even better place in which to live.

Multi Agency Night Time Week of Action

A multi agency night time week of action will be undertaken within the residential areas of the city centre. The residential operations and information stalls at community centres will be held on 2nd, 4th, and 6th of August.

A large scale cage soccer event will also be held during the week at St Georges Plateau.

Community Centres

The community centres will be used for agencies to provide information stalls for resident’s access.

The following dates were agreed:

Marybone Community Centre: Monday 2nd August between 4.00pm and 9.00pm

Pagoda Community Centre: Wednesday 4th August between 4.00pm and 8.00pm

Bronte Community Centre: Friday 6th August between 4.00pm and 9.00pm

  • Provide staff to undertake UV marking of electronic portable equipment and bicycles
  • Newsletters
  • Burglary information leaflets
  • Questionnaire for residents priorities

Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service

  • Fire safety advice
  • Carbon Monoxide information

Energy Efficiency Team

  • Provide energy efficiency guidance and information
  • A supply of energy efficient light bulbs
  • Information on gas and electricity monitors

City Centre Management

  • Hold residents advice surgery for city centre issues

Jobs Enterprise & Training (JET)

  • Offering Jobs and training advice

Benefit Maximisation Team

  • Offering benefit advice

Residential Operations

Residential operations will be carried out alongside each community centre event

Merseyside Police

  • Additional staff
  • High visibility local patrols PCSO’s and officers
  • Residents reassurance
  • Door to door visits

Environmental Enforcement Team

  • Undertake tour of area to highlight issues
  • Litter and dog fouling enforcement
  • Identification of graffiti and program of removal

Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service
