At People’s Powerhouse CIC, they have been dedicated to strengthening local democracy and civic participation across the North of England since 2019. They bring together a diverse range of voices and experiences to help shape the discourse, priorities, decision-making, and actions across the North.
This event presents an important opportunity for you to engage directly with the people and communities at the heart of the North’s future. It offers a chance to listen, learn, and connect with those whose voices and lived experiences should guide investment and decision-making. Together, we will explore what devolution, power, and accountability mean for communities, reflecting on where we’ve been, where we’re headed, and how changemakers like you are driving positive impact beyond formal structures.
