The Liverpool City Region (LCR) Combined Authority is holding a series of online conversations to hear from residents living in Halton, Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton, St Helens and Wirral about how land should be used and the benefits that they want see from future developments in Liverpool City Region.

Outputs from the conversations will influence the LCR’s first Spatial Development Strategy (SDS), shaping planning and development across thecity region for the next 15 years.

In this event, on 10th Decemeber, they’re asking what steps residents would like to see taken, to help protect and create quality places and spaces across the city region. Discussion topics might include:

  • What mix of homes should be provided, for a diverse and changing population.
  • What design standards should be enforced, around sustainability, energy efficiency, and health.
  • How we can utilise and protect our built heritage and cultural assets for the benefit of current and future generations.

The session will be held on Zoom. You don’t need to prepare anything in advance, and you need absolutely no experience in this area to join the discussion.
