The Liverpool City Region (LCR) Combined Authority is holding a series of online conversations to hear from residents living in Halton, Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton, St Helens and Wirral about how land should be used and the benefits that they want see from future developments in Liverpool City Region.

Outputs from the conversations will influence the LCR’s first Spatial Development Strategy (SDS), shaping planning and development across thecity region for the next 15 years.

In this event, on 17th Decemeber, they’re asking how residents would like to see local communities benefit as a result of development across Liverpool, Wirral, St Helens, Knowsley, Halton and Sefton.

  • How the positive social and environmental benefits of development projects can be measured, evidenced and maximised.
  • How we ensure that social value generated by development has a wider impact.
  • How we ensure developers are held accountable, and deliver on their committments.

The session will be held on Zoom. You don’t need to prepare anything in advance, and you need absolutely no experience in this area to join the discussion.
