Our friends at Wordscape have launched an amazing project for 2023 which involves declaring this year to be a Year of Action. It is truly inspiring as it fits perfectly with the Engage launch last year of our citizen engagement seminar series entitled Making Liverpool Better Together – and that can’t be done without action.

We have almost missed the January action plan but though we are already into the 4th week we wanted to let you know what is happening and what you can do to get involved. Over this year they’ll be sharing 52 actions – one a week – that help people and organisations build momentum and take action for climate and communities.

Read more on Wordscape’s Ethos blog, and sign up to their free newsletter to have each week’s Actions delivered straight to you for the rest of the year.

January’s actions have started to be released online and are from Robbie Dale and Daianna Karaian from Today Do This  which is an incredible organisation.

It looks as if February will be New Citizenship Project founded by our great friend Jon Alexander.

Wordscape will be introducing a new partner and theme each month and they have some brilliant organisations to introduce over the year. They want to engage with as many people as possible – networks, organisations – to get the word out and to partner with. If you’d like to partner on it or have a suggestion for an organisation they ought to consider, they’re open to ideas. Contact Wordscape here.

Engage will be supporting our friends Andrew Beattie and Fiona Shaw at Wordscape by publishing their monthly action call-out.
