If you live in the city centre or waterfront, and want to help make the place better for everyone, maybe you should consider becoming a member of the Board of Engage CIC!

The committment is to attend one monthly meeting usually on the 2nd Thursday of the month from 5.30-7.30pm and currently being held in The Tapestry Building in the Fabric District of the city, courtesy of DoES Liverpool.

Why join our board?

We are looking for people who care about the quality of life in the city centre and, as we are all volunteers, we rely heavily on the generosity of our Board members to add value to our work by sharing their skills and their passion with us to the extent they have the time and ability to dedicate themselves to a particular task or interest.

We are particularly looking to recruit women and younger people and would love to be able to enhance our social media presence, organise better our events, and start new projects especially around creating a social life for people who may be new to the city or to their apartment complex. If you think there is something missing from city centre life then come and join us and we will help you fill the gap and create something new.

Together we can do more than alone, and making contacts and connections is the first step to making the kind of community to which most people would like to belong.

Come and say hello!

Attend our next Board Meeting on Thursday 13th September, at DoES Liverpool in the Tapestry Building from 5.30pm. We promise a warm welcome.
