Directors of Engage Liverpool want to wish all our neighbours and stakeholders a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year for 2024.
The year ahead already has some dates in it that we’d like to share with you.
Annual Waterfront residents meeting
Taking place at the Arena and Convention Centre, Kings Dock on Thursday 15th February 2024 at 6.00pm (doors open 5.30pm for refreshments and registration). This event will bring to your attention all the major events and projects that will take place along the Waterfront during the year. You will get the opportunity to learn about them and to ask questions and raise concerns.
South Ferry Island residents follow-up meeting with Canal & River Trust
Due to take place around March 2024 Engage will organise a further meeting with residents on South Ferry Island to update them about progress following the well-attended first meeting on 25th September 2023 in the Yacht Club at the Marina Bar and Restaurant.
2024 Engage Seminar Series: Sustainable Liverpool
Engage can announce today that the dates for the next seminar series on the theme of sustainability in the city centre and net-zero targets for Liverpool City Council will take place on a series of THURSDAYS during October and November 2024: 10th and 24th October and 7th November.
Further details will be announced in due course but there have been significant conversations with the Sustainability Manager for LCC and with the CEO of 2030Hub to make sure we get right what the city needs and how residents can get involved as we strive to better understand the impacts of climate change and what we are likely to experience here in Liverpool on the waterfront and in the city centre.
We look forward to your participation in the events that will take place designed to improve the quality of life for all our neighbours and visitors to the city centre and waterfront.
