Women in the City Centre and Waterfront have an opportunity to become members of the WI (Women’s Institute) by joining the Liverpool Liverbirds WI which meets at the Quaker Meeting House.
Monday 14th September 7pm Main Meeting at the Quaker Meeting House, School Lane. Liverpool Liverbirds WI relaunch event, and Medical Herbalist Sue Sprung gives us an insight into what medical herbalism really means and how it can complement wellbeing. Monday 28th September 7pm Craft Club at the German Church (corner of Bedford Street South and Canning Street). Monday 12th October 7pm Main Meeting at the Quaker Meeting House, AGM and Social Evening. Tea, cake, relaxed and fun activities and plenty of conversation of course! Monday 26th October 7pm Craft Club at the German Church (corner of Bedford Street South and Canning Street). Monday 9th November 7pm Main Meeting at the Quaker Meeting House, School Lane. Christmas Cake Craft Demo’s and practical session, edible glitter abounds! Monday 23rd November 7pm Craft Club at the German Church (corner of Bedford Street South and Canning Street). Monday 14th December 7pm Liverpool Liverbirds WI Christmas meal – venue TBA.
Visitors are welcome at all of the above! We positively encourage people to come along and check us out before they join, although it is also lovely when people want to join straight away.
