When: Thu 29th Jan - 18.30 - 20.00

Where: Nuffield Health Liverpool, Riverside Drive, Liverpool UK

Engage is hosting a ‘listening meeting’ for all local neighbours of the proposed Festival Gardens development that now has preferred developer status.

The meeting for residents will be held at Nuffield Health on Riverside Drive from 6.30pm on Thursday 29th January 2026.

Places are limited by the size of the cafe space at Nuffield so registration is essential.

Those most affected by the agreed development are City Quay and Armstrong Quay and residents who live off the following roads – Promenade Gardens, Priory Close, Moel Famau View and Bempton Road. Flyers will be delivered to all homes in the area inviting them to the meeting.

The idea is simply to give local people the chance to share their memories of the site and to see if it is possible to reach any consensus about the type of development residents would like to see on the site. This is not a protest meeting but is designed to respond positively to the fact that the site will be developed and residents would like some say in what comes next.

Firstly we want to listen to each other and then share ideas, suggestions and concerns with the developers appointed by the city council, who will not be present. Engage will commit to capturing the discussion for future use.
