Some residents of the City Centre and Waterfront might want to know that for Christians Lent begins on 1st March with Ash Wednesday and lasts for 40 days aproximately 6 weeks. There will be a series of Lenten Talks at the Parish Church of Our Lady and St Nicholas.

The Bishop of Liverpool Paul Bayes will be leading the traditional service of Imposition of Ashes at 12.15 and this day there also commences the Lenten Series.
