A firm favourite for waterfront and city centre residents is the annual Light Night celebration of culture, arts, events, destinations spread right across the city centre and waterfront on Friday 19th May from 5.00pm till late.

If you’re a new resident to city living then take our word for it this night is not to be missed! A highlight this year will be the light show at the Metropolitan Cathedral celebrating its 50th anniversary of opening in 1967. The theme for 2017 is ‘Time’.
