It was thanks to Locality that Engage was able to promote Neighbourhood Plans for the Baltic and Waterfront – in both cases we submitted all requirements to the Council but objections from a few landowners meant LCC refused the Waterfront and accepted the Baltic.

The theme of their 2015 event is Keep it Local – for better services, better value and better results for our communities.

It’s only two weeks now until the Locality ’15 Convention taking place at St George’s Hall in Liverpool city centre. It’s going to be a fantastic two days – and a space to celebrate some of the amazing achievements of our sector.

On Tuesday evening we’ll be having a reception with drinks and food. It’ll be informal, with the chance to mingle and chat and enjoy the delicious food provided for us by social enterprise Can Cook.
