City Centre, especially Waterfront residents will enjoy the opportunity for the first Festival of the year taking place on the Waterfront at the south end in Festival Gardens on Thursday, Friday and Saturday 18th-20th February, 5.30-9.00pm.

Entitled Luminous Landscapes the event is a partnership between Liverpool City Council  and the Lantern Company and is a cultural activity for all the family around light and the environment. It sounds really interesting and should be well worth a visit. It is something most people who live along the waterfront could walk to along the river. What’s not to like about that! Unless of course it’s pouring down and there’s a gale blowing!!

There is a cost and tickets can be obtained on-line or at The Ticket Quarter, Queens Square. £6.25 adult; £3.50 child; £16.50 family.
