Join National Museums Liverpool for a day exploring the history, past present, and future of the Canning Dock, at the International Slavery Museum. Thursday 6th April from 6.30am to 9.00pm.
Events will include creative writing, dance workshops, walking tours, story-telling, and a moment to delve into the history of the site – delivered by partners including 20 Stories High, Squash Nutrition, Writing on the Wall and Liverpool Black History Research Group. The full programme is coming soon.
No ticket required simply turn up and take part. A full programme will be published closer to the time.
This will be the first time the Canning Dock has been activated in such a vibrant way and we can’t wait to see how people share the space. It’s a great opportunity for city centre and waterfront residents to explore the past and be part of imagining the future of the Canning Dock.
