On Wednesday October 4th we launched the 2017 Engage Seminar Series ‘Liverpool UNESCO World Heritage Site: A Status Worth Fighting For?’
The first seminar in the series was entitled ‘UNESCO WHS – What’s It All About?’ and was held at Liverpool Town Hall. The international speaker was Dr Isabelle Anatole-Gabriel, UNESCO Chief of the Europe and North America Unit at the World Heritage Centre in Paris.
The national speaker was Henry Owen-John, Head of International Advice, Historic England.
The Local Panel was Dr David Fleming OBE, Director of National Museums Liverpool; Dr Beatriz Garcia, Director of the Institute of Cultural capital, University of Liverpool; Cllr Barry Kushner, Cabinet Member for Children’s Services.
