The final city to come to Liverpool for our 2024 seminar series Sustainable Liverpool – Learning from 3 European Green Capitals is Bristol which had the accolade in 2015 and remains the only UK city to have been accredited as European Green Capital. It puts them at the forefront of all UK cities in their efforts to address climate crisis issues and the net-zero challenge.
We are excited to be able to learn not only what they did in 2015 and why they won such a prestigious European award but also what have they done since? How is their city continuing to make sure it keeps its place at the top table of UK cities for sustainable living.
