Waterfront residents are in for a real treat when the latest and largest-ever Cunard liner the Queen Anne comes to the Mersey for her official naming ceremony on Monday 3rd June 2024.

It will be yet another astounding event leaving memories that will last a few generations. The ship will be officially named at 4.00pm but there are events all day to celebrate this extraordinary moment. The Pier Head is the focus for most of the day and there are some great names taking part in entertaining the expected crowds.

The Queen Anne arrives at 7.00am; the naming ceremony is at 4.00pm and the evening entertainment starts at 8.30pm and the ship departs at 10.15pm.
