Engage Seminar Series 2015 Liveable Liverpool – apartment living in a European city Seminar Two video footage from the second of the three seminars reflecting upon the design, build and management of apartment blocks.

We had a problem filming this seminar because the equipment at the Women’s Organisation where we held the seminar was inadequate for our recording purposes. However we have done our best to publish these videos but apologise if they are too difficult to view. We also apologise to our presenters for failing to properly record their contributions for posterity.

Our expert architect was Alessandra Cianchetta an architect and planner from AWP office for territorial reconfiguration in Paris who spoke movingly about the reality of apartment development in Paris especially how they create great outdoor spaces to compensate for their smaller apartment footplate. Lyndsay Whitley spoke on behalf of the Royal Town Planning Institute and she works as a Principal Urban Designer with WYG. The Local Panel was made up of an architect Amanda Wanner Associate Senior Lecturer at Leeds Beckett University, an Urban Designer Rob Burns from Liverpool City Council, and Ben Clay a social housing expert from Clay & Co Housing consultancy.
