Our final seminar in this series brings our reflections on food sustainability and food security right into our own homes so residents can make some decisions based on all we have heard about how and where we purchase food and where we decide to go when we eat out. Maybe also the questions we can ask in the cafes and restaurants of the city region to improve everyone’s ability to inform and change our food culture.

We will be led by the wonderful Lucy Antal who lives locally and has been passionate about food for many years now. She is founder and director of Alchemic Kitchen.

Lucy is employed by newly re-branded Foodrise (formerly Feedback Global) where she is Senior Project Manager and Lead for Food Justice (see her profile HERE). Lucy has extensive experience and expertise, she is a member of the International Commission on the Anthropology of Food and Nutrition. Lucy is engaged in several research projects with the N8 AgriFood group. She is an active participant in the Sustainable Food Cities Network, Co-founder of the Knowledge Quarter Sustainability Network and supported the creation of the AgroEcoCities European Network.
