In today’s Guardian (17.09.19) there is an extensive story about the death of a young homeless Liverpool woman aged 30 in the city centre. It is a well researched and moving piece of journalism and tells us why the Engage seminar series topic on 17th October is really important for everyone.

We need to talk about homeless people and what can our society and we ourselves do about it. Engage has invited Juha Kahila from the Y-Foundation Finland who is Project Coordinator working with Housing First which has done such amazing work in his country that they have virtually eradicated homelessness.

You can come along to our seminar and not only hear about Finland’s experience but see what we are doing at the Liverpool City Region level to tackle this human crisis. You can book for the seminar HERE and find out more about the whole series HERE.
