About Marybone

Nowadays this neighbourhood is probably home to more students than indigenous residents. Historically though the area was defined mostly by Holy Cross Catholic Church that dominated the neighbourhood. There is still a strong, viable, local community whose children attend Holy Cross Primary School in Fontenoy Street.
